General Terms and Conditions

REFUND POLICY

MY Real Estate School is committed to student satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, MY Real Estate School will refund the purchase price of any course if the refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase.
However, if you decide that our in-person or livestream course option would work better for you, you may request to transfer for a fee of $199. Transfers are only permitted for the next scheduled course date. Please refer to our course calendar for dates and times available by visiting https://alabamarealestateclass.com/courses/. The cost to transfer does not include your textbook. If you wish to transfer your enrollment to the live in-person class, please email us at info@alabamarealestateclass.com.

We offer a retake promotion for students that did not complete their course as well as payment arrangements. All refunds, payment arrangements, and promotions may vary and can be modified or cancelled at any time.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes must be applied at checkout. No refund for an unused promotional code will be given after checkout has been completed. To obtain your promotional code discount, you must enter the promotional code in the box under your total at checkout and click the "Apply Discount" button. The discount amount will then be subtracted from the total amount due. Promotional codes cannot be combined and are not eligible for use in conjunction with payment plans, extensions, or additional continuing education certificates.


CE HOURS OR NOT FOR CREDIT HOURS

When a course is approved for state CE credit, the hours of approval will be reflected under the "Elective" or "Mandatory/Core/Law/Required" column headings in the respective catalog it was ordered from. If the course hours are listed ONLY in the "Total" column, the course DOES NOT carry any CE credit in that state.

Course Expiration

CONTINUING EDUCATION AND POST-LICENSING EDUCATION
Continuing Education and Post-Licensing course(s) courses expire one year after the date of purchase. MY Real Estate School will allow students to purchase a new course at a 50% discount of the current retail price of the new course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in the student’s account.

PRE-LICENSING EDUCATION
Pre-Licensing course expires six months after the date of purchase.

EXAMINATIONS

  1. Unit Exams are presented at the conclusion of each unit, with a varying number of questions depending on the amount of content contained in each unit. Unit exams can be retaken as many times as necessary.
  2. Final Exams are presented at the conclusion of each course, with a varying number of questions depending on the amount of content contained in the course. Maximum of two attempts on the Pre-License course final exam. Students that fail both attempts will be given an option to re-enroll in the course. Students that re-enroll will need to start the course from the beginning, and complete all course materials again before they can take the final exam.
  3. Students must achieve a minimum score as specified in the exam instructions to receive credit for the unit and course.
  4. Students will not be able to proceed to subsequent units in the course until the unit exam in each unit is successfully completed and passed.
  5. Except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, in cases where a minimum passing score is required on the final exam and the student fails, My Real Estate School will allow the student to re-enroll in a course and begin the entire course again at no additional charge.

ATTENDANCE AND PROGRESS POLICY

Students must complete 100% of the learning material presented in a course and demonstrate mastery of the material by passing all quizzes and the final exam to receive credit hours for the course. Students not completing 100% of the material will not be issued a Certificate of Completion will not receive credit hours for the course. Students must spend a minimum of 50 minutes per hour of approved credit in the learning management system. Example: for a 3-credit hour course, a student must be actively engaged in the course for 150 minutes (3 X 50 minutes). Students have to be 18-years of age or older to enroll in our courses.

CRIMINAL HISTORY

A criminal history may make you ineligible for the license you are seeking. For questions or information, please contact the Real Estate Commission in the state for which you are interested in becoming licensed.

POST COURSE COMPLETION

Once courses are completed, students must “certify” that they were the student/licensee who completed the coursework. This is accomplished by entering the username and password that the student created at the time of enrollment.
